Orchard Park Students are Advocates for
Safe Schools
Orchard Park Secondary School has been recognized
by Hamilton Police Services for doing their part to put an end
to bullying in their school.
As part of the Hamilton Police Service’s
annual Safe Schools Challenge, students at Orchard Park Secondary:
Alexs, Tiffanie, Rachel, Ian, Steven, and Kaitlyn, submitted
a video that promotes the school as a safe and caring environment.
The students have made themselves advocates
for keeping their school as safe as possible and this video
entry is an example of their efforts.
The video won 3rd place in the Safe Schools Challenge and focuses
around cyber-bullying, new technologies, and school fighting.
